Hello, hello! A quick shoutout to Chris of UnbearablyStylish.com who took these amazing shots. Check out his blog for some more great fashion!

Today’s outfit highlights my newest vintage find. I’m a sucker for silk shirts: they’re comfortable, up the elegance factor, and have a subtle shine that makes me smile shine a bit more. This particular silk shirt was a thrift store find, and it was well worth the effort of digging through piles of ketchup-stained tees and starchy button-ups. It features an ethnic motif in turquoise, lapis, and a warm cream.

Because the shirt pairs amazingly with warm, reddish browns, I added my favorite braided belt (courtesy of Topman) and shiny Italian leather loafers (Broletto). I’m a fan of brown accessories, as opposed to black, so these are my dearest wardrobe staples.

The last touches are black waxed jeans (Zara) and a fur scarf (f21). The fur plays up the sophistication of the silk and adds another textural element. Plain jeans are great, but these waxed ones are more playful!
